Screven County Thrift Store & Local Missions

Our Screven County store located in Sylvania Georgia opened in December of 2001. It is the middle child of the three thrift stores that we operate. We found this jewel of a city through a relative an immediately feel in love with this tradition rich city.

Here are some of the basics about the ministry in Screven County / Sylvania Georgia:

• Location: our Thrift Store is located on the square in downtown Sylvania. The address is 101 N Main St in Sylvania.
• Hours: The store is open 6 days per week, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday the hours are 10 – 6. On Wednesday and Saturday the store is open 9 – 5.
• Phone: Our phone number there is 912-564-9296.
• Appointments: Anyone needing assistance should call the store and notify the person that answers that they would like an appointment for assistance. That’s it.
• General: The store is  approximately 5,000 sqft of quality used, new and nearly new merchandise ranging from clothes and accessories to toys and televisions and most things in between.  For our shoppers, we gladly accept Visa, Mastercard, local checks and cash. The store is generally closed for New Year’s Day, Easter, 4th of July, Thanksgiving & Christmas Holidays. We are typically open all other holidays though possibly with shorter hours in some locations.
• Donations:  Due to how hard this community has been hit by the slumping economy, it graciously appreciates household donations and is in need of clothing, shoes, accessories, etc. Donations may be dropped off anytime during business hours, and all donations are generally tax-deductible.
• Special Sales:
  (a) The last day of every month all three of our stores will have ALL ITEMS in he store for 50% Off. No exceptions. No fine print. If the last day of the month falls on a Sunday, we will instead have it on the Saturday before.
  (b) Next, we will occasionally have a $1 sale where all of the clothes in our store will be $1 per piece excluding only white tags.
  (c) Everyday there is something on sale ranging from 25% – 75% off. We post our monthly calendar online and hand out calendars in the store. Keep checking to find really great deals to save your family a lot of money and get great bargains daily.
