How to Get Involved with what the Lord is Doing

First of all, thank you for at least reading this page.  There are many ways that you can help and be a valuable part of the ministry.

1. Pray. This is the best way for anyone to get involved. Pray the Lord will break us, sharpen us, humble us and use us for His glory. Pray for our ability and willingness to follow Him as He leads. Pray we have the eyes to see and the ears to hear. Pray for God to raise up people to join us in His work. Pray for the hungry, the sick, the lost, the dying, the orphans & the widows.  Then listen…the Lord may have you do something else and move you from your knees to your feet.
2. Go on a mission trip with us.  If you offer us a choice of $1,000 donation or you buying a ticket to come to Malawi with us, we will take you coming on a trip with us each and every time (test us ;o).  It does take money to build the orphanage and buy food, clothing, medicines, supplies & pay workers, but what is really going to change Malawi and the world is people going and seeing for themselves and bringing back testimonies to their friends, family, co-workers, neighbors, strangers, etc.  Not everyone is called to go to Africa, but those that are need to go.
3. Clean out your closets, garages, attics, basements, business overstocks and bring these useable items to our thrift stores and donate them.  We use the funds generated from these sales to minister in Malawi as well as locally and the rest of the world.
4. Shop in our stores. You can come into our nice clean and organized thrift stores and find great deals on new and almost new items and support the ministry in the process.
5. Give of your time. You can come in and volunteer in our stores and help that way.
6. You can also donate financially if the Lord leads. Current needs of the orphanage are around $157,000 to complete phase one. After that, we need to build a fence around the adjacent property and build the missionary housing.
7. If you can think of another way, please contact us anytime.  We are admittedly an incomplete puzzle…maybe God has given you a missing piece for us.  We won’t know unless you contact us.
